Playwright
Maripat Allen came to playwriting through acting and has been writing plays for about fourteen years. She has had full length, one acts, and ten minute plays produced in eleven states and three countries. She won the Community Theatre Association of Michigan playwriting contest award twice with full length works, and is four times published.
