A graduate of Denison University, Sam is active in his local and virtual writing communities, teaching classes with The Porch Writers Collective and producing the Playwrights Thriving Reading Series. Sam’s plays have been developed with support from the Sewanee Writers Conference, the Lambda Literary Writers Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ Voices, the Valdez Theatre Conference, and the Midwest Dramatists Conference, among other organizations.
